Welcome
to the Presidents Vision Tour, Vision in Action website.
The purpose of this site is to facilitate local and national
efforts to make the values of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan
visible to others. It is the vision of Kwan Jang Nim to see
active committees in each studio nationwide working to make
the Art visible within their communities. It is the goal of
the National Committee to support these local efforts, and
to work to distribute visibility ideas throughout the
Federation.
The
website has been designed to work in conjunction with
the
Vision in Action Handbooks which has been shipped to every
studio. The handbooks represent the
hands-on aspect of the project, while the website offers the
opportunity for fast, on-going
dialogue and communication. Periodic updates for the
handbooks will be mailed and initiated together with website
activity to provide you with a steady supply of tools to place the Vision into Action.

Site
Layout:
The site has been designed with seven
key pages:
Home,
Forum,
Committees,
Vision in Action Notebook,
Vision in Action,
Recognition,
and
Vision Events.
Home
includes a window for the latest committee information; Forum
is the interactive
page where you can post questions, answers, and your
ideas or studio events; Committees
features all registered Vision Tour Committees at Certified
Studios; The
Vision in Action Handbook is the
startup toolkit which has been distributed to all Certified
Studios and is filled with concepts
and action examples and is also available online for quick
access by interested committee members; Vision
in Action will contain Press
Releases that support the sharing and promoting of Soo Bahk
Do Moo Duk Kwan to the public. This will also provide
examples for other studios to use to publish their own
Releases; Recognition
will feature major successful projects by active local
Vision Committees which have generated proven
membership growth and/or other high visibility aspects; Vision
Events will present Certified
Studios'
Vision related events.
Using the Site:
Communication
enters through the Forum page, and is either added to, or
responded to directly among members, answered there by a
National Committee member
or posted to other locations by a
National
Committee member as may be appropriate for the subject
matter. Interested
parties may search the Forum for general dialogue, or go
directly to a page of their choice. A single click provides
committee contact information, and also the latest
visibility ideas, major projects, and on-going studio events
nationwide. The updated
Vision in Action
Handbook is always
available online in its entirety, along with many other proven ideas for
starting your Vision committee, contacting media, working
with your local schools, possible fundraisers, and other
Vision projects.
Again, this is your site.
The National Committee will
help organize and maintain it, but it is first a record of personal
intentions, execution, and a reflection of YOUR willingness to share ideas
with fellow practitioners. Our goal remains the growth of
the art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan; growth of both the Art,
and the Value. Our actions will determine
our
success.
