The Federation's Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who govern the overall business affairs of the Federation and ensure that the Technical Advisory Committee is supported in its work.  The Board consists of 15 directors in all.  Five directors are appointed by the Kwan Jang Nim and one director is elected from each region by the voting Dan members in that region.  Elected directors serve for three-year terms.  Director terms are staggered so that half of the elected director's terms expire in alternate years.
